Agadir

Agadir is a city in southwestern Morocco, located on the Atlantic coast, in the Souss region, 508 miles south of Casablanca, 173 km from Essaouira and 235 km west of Marrakech. It is the capital of the Souss-Massa administrative region and prefecture Draa Agadir Ida Outanane.

With his miraculous at least 300 days of sunshine a year, and its long beach 10 km climate, Agadir has the ingredients for success seaside holiday. Agadir is a member of the exclusive club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World. It houses a marina that can accommodate hundreds of yachts.

The market Souk el Ahad is an ideal place for tourists to visit Agadir. The souk is the third largest market in North Africa after Cairo and Fez medina and stocks a wide range of essential products for local people and large amounts of fruits and vegetables for sale, with large mounds herbs and fragrant spices, along with the price level of tourists slippers, leather goods etc that tourists can consider buying.
Le Souk is surprisingly clean and even if you get encouragement used to come in stores, it is not too intense, unlike, for example, Khan al Khalili in Cairo.

Agadir offers a capacity that continues to grow with the construction of new hotels. In 1992 was inaugurated the project of a resort, called Palm Bay, which will run along the beach with hotels, villas, a convention center, a casino, sports facilities and a hotel school. If the main attraction of this seaside town is its long sandy beach lined with eucalyptus, pine and tamarisk, it also offers many beautiful excursions into the backcountry.

61 km north of Agadir, the path that leads to Immouzer is enchanting. Barren hills, green valleys, gorges and plateaus, are often uncomfortable to mention a road. Nestled at the foot of the High Atlas to 1250 m above sea level, the small white houses Immouzer dominate a beautiful palm. A 4 km away, a waterfall, called "the veil of the bride" because of his bleached limestone walls, has no interest that the rainy season. Politically, Immouzer is the "capital" of a confederation of Berber tribes, Ida Outanane, who until 1927 lived on the margins of the central government. Market on Thursday.
